Connect Internet Solutions launched
its elearning course creation tool to
a nationwide audience at a major
exhibition in November.
CourseMaker, which enables businesses
to develop their own elearning courses
quickly and easily, was launched at
the World of Learning Conference and
Exhibition at The Birmingham NEC on
17th and 18th November 2004.
Colin Charlton, Chief Executive of
Connect Internet Solutions,
commented, ‘As CourseMaker was
initially developed as part of a
Merseyside-based project run in
conjunction with Liverpool
University, I’m delighted that we have
now launched it to a nationwide
audience. The exhibition provided us
with an ideal platform to promote not
only CourseMaker, but our whole range
of elearning solutions.’
CourseMaker allows businesses to build
and manage their own customer friendly
professional online training courses
through an easy-to-use web interface -
eliminating the need to involve costly
IT specialists.
Owner and founder of Liverpool-based
Maverick, John MacCarfrae, one of the
first to use the software, recognised
that CourseMaker would allow him to
deliver his unique Beatles-themed
corporate training courses online –
making them accessible worldwide. He
explains, ‘CourseMaker is key to
building our reputation and market
share in the global marketplace – it
has given us access to the tools and
resources essential to building
professional elearning courses.'
